The Makanda Project in Nubian Square
Always a treat, this series of free jazz concerts has persisted in Roxbury MA thru the pandemic. Featuring the highly regarded Chico Freeman on sax, they played brilliantly together, ending with a jam between the drummer, bassist, and Chico.
